Heavy Equipement operator
Location: Wiarton, Ontario

Position available: Mid-January 2025
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for:
- Operate wheel loaders using a bucket or forks.
- Transport equipment to the workplace.
- Move slabs, blocks and finished goods within the quarry.
- Maintain and check equipment on a daily basis.
- Support the production team as needed.
The ideal candidate would be one of the following:
- You are looking for a long-term relationship where your contribution is essential.
- You are self-motivated, punctual, and disciplined.
- You perform your duties with discernment.
- Common Core Surface Miner Certification is required.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Employment status: Permanent / Full-time.
- Salary based on experience and position, up to $25.00/hour.
- Schedule: 7am to 4:30pm from Monday to Thursday – 7am to 3:30 on Friday.
